How an outstation cab from Bangalore is charged
The same four parts for every car and every destination.
What goes on the bill
- Per km driven, at the car's rate: ₹12 a km in a Sedan.
- A minimum of 300 km a day. A day with less driving is charged at the minimum.
- A driver allowance for each day of the trip, ₹400 a day for the Sedan.
- Tolls, parking and state permits are paid at actual cost.
For a round trip, the final amount is worked out at the end of the trip, on the kilometres actually driven. Pay the driver by cash or UPI.
Multi-city round trip

What is the minimum km per day for an outstation cab?
The minimum is 300 km a day. If you drive less than that on a day, the day is charged at the minimum; if you drive more, every km is charged.
What is driver bata?
Driver bata is a daily allowance for the driver on an outstation trip, ₹400 to ₹1,000 a day depending on the car. It is charged for each day of the trip, on top of the per-km fare.
How is the outstation fare worked out?
The kilometres driven are multiplied by the car's per-km rate, with the daily minimum applied to each day, and the driver allowance is added for each day. Tolls, parking and interstate permits are paid at actual cost. The final bill is worked out on the kilometres actually driven at the end of the trip.
Can I visit more than one city on one trip?
Yes. Book a round trip, choose your first destination, then add each city in the order you want to visit them. The trip is charged per km on the whole loop back to Bangalore, with the daily minimum and driver allowance for each day.
Are interstate permit charges included?
No. When a trip crosses into another state, the permit or entry tax is paid at actual cost, the same as tolls and parking.
Do I need to pay an advance for an outstation cab?
No advance is needed for airport trips. Local & Outstation trips and tour packages are paid in parts: 20% when the booking is confirmed, 50% upon boarding the cab and the balance before the end of the journey.
